Thanks for the comments on this picture, one that I think captures my often peculiar slant on things but not one that will receive much attention I'm afraid - no surprise there. Dan, I understand your plight. A smile lightens the burden; a laugh banishes the gloom. We find our pleasures where we can even when we feel the world is going to hell.

A weird, strange pleasure. I mean, an ordinary street photograph. Yet, B&W. A harsh juxtaposition of old and new, confronted in Japan, a country with sooooo many clashes of stern "beheading" obedience and discipline, challenging Occident.... Your images have much, much more meaning than many people would think...... I feel therefore, one of the fortunates to "read", although clumsily, your subliminal messages. I admire your work, your sooooo personal insight.
