From thumbnail I thought it is a rooster.Is winter indeed similar as in my area this moment.Is cold from few weeks.I say from this photo that nature hibernate and wait for March with more sun power.

finally got some snow - have to post this before it's all gone!

My reaction to this scene is of pure joy, how gorgeous snow looks amazing to me. However, I have never lived in snow and the few times I visit my daugther in Baltimore and Durham, It was wonderful. This image makes me plan fora trip somewhere with snow!!! Thank you for sharing. Warm regards from warm Miami.

You;ll probably have to go further north to get some snow :) It is pretty, and it is even better when it doesn't stay too long!

Excellent composition and fine detail in the trees.  Of course the spot of color is just right...  Mike
