Leslie Reid 5,214 Posted January 30, 2017 Of the 3 jai alai photos, I like this one the best because of the potency of the moment--I don't know if it's elation or an instant of action, but it doesn't really matter because the gesture is so eloquent. The colors really work well together, too--leaving the "9" marker in is perfect. And a question for you: you evidently shot this through a screen and have done a great job of removing the evidence of the screen from the player--how'd you do that? Link to comment
Marvin 4 Posted January 30, 2017 Leslie,Thanks, but you give me too much credit.#1This is one of the 500 snaps that I took. It's a tough venue for photography. The light seems bright but not so much for the camera. I have a f 2.0 lens. They move fast so you need a reasonably fast shutter speed. The high ISO adds digital noise.#2 I didn't remove the fence from the player - it just becomes less obvious when you brighten the image. Link to comment
