A phasmid (stick insect) is being attacked mercilessly by predators.  Sad to say, it's camouflage abilities will not work in a concrete environment.

An immaculate laid pavement Jack. I think this must be Japanese standard quality. But still there is a need for natural things, and a stick is added. Ment to be there for the passer bye to create his daily art work. You made a good one.

I find the 'quality of lighting' beautiful in this capture. The 'stick' reminds me of a slain creature......something alien.........the textures of the leaves and stones, pavement and stone wall all add to the 'conversation'. One of your best Jack.
