GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted January 30, 2017 When I first saw this image I thought it was taken in the UK, she has this Italian (?) flare. I really like the POV and your chosen crop! It suits black and white very well. Link to comment
samschnieders 1 Posted January 30, 2017 Thanks Gail. I think this young lady's father is Italian. I posted a picture of her a few weeks ago on a stairwell in color, but I do think this situation translates better in black and white. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted January 30, 2017 What caught my attention is not the situation itself, but the sharpness and clarity of the subject and the black cloth. I wonder what lens, equipment and settings you selected to get this degree of perfection. All in all, it is a great photo by the way...technical details spared for fear of being repetitive or denoting the obvious.DG Link to comment
samschnieders 1 Posted January 30, 2017 thank you Daniel. It is stated under equipment that I used a 300mm Tamron 2.8. I also did some sharpening in Photoshop. thanks again for your comments! Link to comment
Holy Fire 0 Posted February 8, 2017 What an awesome B/W retouch! I am just a beginner in photo . But I dream about being able to do professional portrait editing. So now I co-work with several retouching teams in order to have my photo perfectly. These are Lavalu or fixthephoto.com, retouchgem.com or even freelancers. But, if you can advise me other retouching teams, I am open to it. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted April 15, 2017 Particularly well done - the design, the softened background, the pose. Excellent work, Sam. Link to comment
