When I first saw this image I thought it was taken in the UK, she has this Italian (?) flare. I really like the POV and your chosen crop! It suits black and white very well.

Thanks Gail.  I think this young lady's father is Italian.  I posted a picture of her a few weeks ago on a stairwell in color, but I do think this situation translates better in black and white.  

What caught my attention is not the situation itself, but the sharpness and clarity of the subject and the black cloth. I wonder what lens, equipment and settings you selected to get this degree of perfection. All in all, it is a great photo by the way...technical details spared for fear of being repetitive or denoting the obvious.

thank you Daniel.  It is stated under equipment that I used a 300mm Tamron 2.8.  I also did some sharpening in Photoshop.  thanks again for your comments!

What an awesome B/W retouch! I am just a beginner in photo . But I dream about being able to do professional portrait editing. So now I co-work with several retouching teams in order to have my photo perfectly. These are Lavalu or fixthephoto.com, retouchgem.com or even freelancers. But, if you can advise me other retouching teams, I am open to it.
