This one's also really nice, but it has a very, very different feel--I get a sense of loneliness from this one that I definitely didn't get from the other (probably the effect of the fence turning the tree into something beyond reach), and the sky is less of a player and more of a backdrop. Nice composition here, too. I'm really curious about what would happen if you lightened up the lower left corner--judging from the specks of light on some of the grass down there, it might bring in some fence shadows to continue the line theme, and it would also keep that corner from being quite so compositionally weighty. I'm curious about whether that might increase the visual importance of the tree. Link to comment
