Hi Jack,

Yes,a real pain.We have been without power for 15 hours and looks like we still have another 24 hours,and we are about 110,000 in our province.Luckily,I have a generator to keep the basics going(incl internet) but now running out of gas as gaz stations also sin-power.

Yikes- yes, we know what a pain it is- ours was out 10 days at one point. SInce then we've installed solar panels with battery back-up- works beautifully!

This phenomenon is unwanted one for sure,it makes whole nature to be overwhelmed and also community utilities.Not good at all.In area like your for sure need always to have especially for winter time an alternative for situation like this,also water and food.Once we had a spring snow wet and heavy that broken pines and made birch trees to be bent like here and they still to be even after years in same position.For those who have no winter can not imagine how difficult is sometime life in this condition.
