Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 23, 2017 Large view available. I didn't go far to get this image. It's right in our backyard. It was a foggy day just before we were going to lose the light of day. Your comments are appreciated. Thanks. Larry Link to comment
alfbailey 2 Posted January 24, 2017 Maybe not most spectacular image but.......You have captured the very essence of the early evening, which is an achievement in itself, and with the gathering mist, and the fading light. I could be looking out of my own back garden.Very well done Larry! Alf Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 24, 2017 Hi Alf, I appreciate your visit to this rather simple image. I agree that its is no great landscape. It was simply a capture of the fleeting light as I saw it. My intent was to record simplicity through the monochromatic design of the tree. I am continuously learning that the design and message of our images can supersede their place. I agree with Edward Weston's comment that simplicity is the most important concept in composition. I appreciate your kind and accurate comment. Larry Link to comment
