Rossio

Rossio Square is the popular name of the Pedro IV Square in Lisbon. It is located in

the Pombaline Downtown of Lisbon and has been one of its main squares since the

Middle Ages.Too, It has been the setting of popular revolts and celebrations, bullfights

and executions, and is now a preferred meeting place of Lisbon natives and tourists

alike.

I love this background--the illusion of three dimensions is so strong that it makes me a little bit dizzy. You selected a really good vantage point to show it well. The location of the figure in the image is perfect--I just wish that they'd been at a more graceful point of their stride when they reached that location. But a very nice image in any case! (and I can't help but think of how much fun someone had in designing the paving here, and how visually disorienting it must be to be walking over it)
