I am not a bird photographer and have no intention to become one

either, but I had to publish these three, fighting for the food on my bird

feeder.

I absolutely love it! The motion blur in the wings is perfect, and the look that the "winner" is giving us is so expressive. You caught the perfect instant here--the poses of the birds on the right, and the parts that are and are not sharp, could not be better. I think this image has a lot more feeling to it than many of the formal wildlife "portraits" have, and that makes this really stand out. It occurs to me that you could create a second wonderful image here using the right 40% of the frame by cropping just to the right of the bird feeder. It would be an odd vertical format, but that format would be appropriate for the resulting composition.
