Panning @ 1/100th sec

Wow! Going from 1/500 to 1/100 makes a huge difference in that sense of speed--this is another beautiful shot! I like how the pan also turns any potential background problems into assets by transforming them into visual representations of motion. It's extraordinary how crystal-sharp the important parts of this image are--really, really nice. And thanks for the pointer (in your message) about practicing panning by shooting passing cars--I'm going to give that a try.
