there is an exhibition on photo performance with old cameras at the Hungarian institute in Bucharest right now, that's what it reminded me.

I know, photographer is behind the cube...napping in shadow... waiting for light...very well assembled and coloured!

Fantastic camera with other interesting details! The camera as an object of fun and creativity makes this presentation great! Warm regards.

Hi Pierre, another fab surreal piece, very well put together and presented, I guess the meaning to this is all up to the individuals interpretation! very creative work as always. Best wishes. Sarah.

i think i finally got some insight into why your floors seem to slope down toward the viewer, or to me, anyway. if i close one eye, the effect is substantially reduced.

i think the apparent slope is due to a group of observations which are together known as picture perception - if you compare a real scene to a picture of that scene, they look different because your visual system somehow knows that the picture is a picture, so it does not engage its usual mechanisms of correction.

if i close one eye, i think, my visual system is less 'convinced' that the picture is a flat thing in the fronto-parallel plane. or something. j

Jamie,

You better see your ophthalmologist as soon as possible cause the picture doesn't change a bit with both my one eyes!

Grandioso

Ben detto, mio carissimo amico!

Mille grazie
