Nice, I like interplay between solid form, shadows, texture and abstract shapes, makes for an interesting visual stew and plays with perception of what is important. The object, the shadow's it cast or the shape not created by shadow.

I like that the shadows are not perfectly regular.  The one at bottom right refuses to conform.

Hello Jack: I am so very glad to see your work again! Such a simple subject, such a simple concept. Yet, in that double simplicity, there is a myriad of elements. Your photography is sooooo personal, so particular. In this instance, a mere, simple shadow, conveys a complex discharge of meanings. What I am trying to say, successfully, is that your vision and photography is exceedingly special and unique. What I mean by this, is that many, many people would pass by immediately an image such as this. Ho hum.... Yet, it is precisely the opposite. I guess it is something of truly, deeply, getting to know the photographer. I don't know if this is a commercial photograph.... I would guess not.... nonetheless it is so....unique, special.... I don't know how to articulate it. The best way, perhaps, is that with an image like this you coin your own, very special, distinct artistic expression. You are a good in-between-the-lines reader, so I trust you can catch the abyssal message I am trying to convey of the message your images ins conveying to me. All the best, and warmest regards. DG
