One of the best applications of graffiti I've ever seen--at least in terms of how you've applied the graffiti to the composition. It ties the image together so gracefully--something I never thought I'd be able to say about graffiti. It looks like you aced the test--you're seeing very, very well!

I think it is called renga, the Japanese poem with two or more contributing poets. A well framed and composed pictorial renga.  Excellent work, Jack.

Thanks for the comments on this one. The picture is part of a sign for a dive shop; the goggle-eyed fish being the bait to lure customers into donning scuba equipment and heading out to the underwater hunting grounds. I agree, Leslie, the spray painted graffiti ties everything together. Tatjana, nice to see you around. Pictures? Wayne, thanks for the info on renga which I was unaware of despite living in this country 30 years. You can always learn something new, even at my age.

The graffiti makes me think of fish hooks, and it is nice how the lock echoes the arcs of the grafitti lines.

I hope this message finds you well. I guess it is not only me that misses you awfully in PN's alleyways, but....I speak for myself. It is quite obvious that you have been away, so I searched for your images where I have not made a comment, and found this. I have a special bias for photos of fishes in their different representations, and this one immediately caught my eye. Is this delicacy peering out of a fridge? Is it a painting? If so, where? why? Your mastery is quite evident, the lock the nut&bolt, the streak of white paint. You, as is your trait and signature, manage to highlight details that may otherwise pass unnoticed. Lucky us that can delve in your unique photographic perspective, where there is much to learn....enjoy...reflect. My best, very best regards. DG
