A beautiful play of light against dark--I find this a very engaging image. My only wish is that there were a little bit more space above the top of the weathercock (um...weather fish?). I think the image and composition are strong enough that it wouldn't detract at all to lighten up the left-hand chimneys slightly to make the mortar lines and chimney pots shine a bit more--that would help support the off-center framing of that wonderful clock tower.

Thank you for your very kind and comprehensive comments. Yes my mistake framing the weathervane to close to the top of the image, a mistake I should have rectified. I did try lightening the shadows but that seemed to distract the viewer eye from the clock and a strong contrast between the light and dark gave me the image a wanted to present.
