The full moon high tides water overtake the street and mirrors the hot

sunset.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

The colors are wonderful in this photo, and exposure is spot on, conveying the mood of the time of day. But to be honest, the composition feels too static. The horizon line is just about centered vertically and the eye is drawn to the pole, which is close to centered in the composition. The rule of thirds would help - perhaps changing the composition so the horizon is higher and the pole is moved up and to the left a bit. That way the road would draw the eye toward the center, then curve up to the left.

Hi Bob,

Thank you for looking at this one and for taking time to comment.Of course I agree with your observation and I guess I messed up at the onset with the title I gave this;I wanted the pole and its lines to be at centerstage and take advantage of the reflection offered by the tide waters creeping in on the street to have a color filled frame. At the left,a house and at the right of the frame, the street;I cropped out the bottom which was very dark and unattractive but resulted in the 50/50 ratio and spoiled the rule of thirds.Glad it was still eye-catching enough to get you to check in.

Thank you again and have a Happy New Year.

Salutations-Laurent
