A gray wail offering so many details to contemplate. It is a good choice to show a glimpse of the other reality beyond the wall.

At first I thought of a double exposure. Then I realized that the illusion was constituted by the structure and the discoloration of the sufface. Whenever I look at the image I seem to see a face  or fragment of a face behind a veil. However, as Herman mentions the small glimse of the world behind brings you back to reality.
I like the simplicity, the subdued tone and the creativity behind this image.

I like the simplicity, the light, the only thing I would crop out the coloured portion at the top as I find the transition to abrupt and my eyes always end up in that section of the image.

In one respect, I must respectfully disagree with George.  The transitions back and forth between realities would be impossible without the beige and blue.  Yet, if these areas were eliminated, the resulting image still would provide enough grist for the mill.

A mess of an image to reminds us the messy year that just passed, reality in the back also reminds us of about 50 shades of life! I always enjoy your comments to other members images. Take good care.

Happy new year. I do not see the importance of the top part with the sky. the rest is fabulous, the meditating eye. compliments -koushik
