Mike,

Glad these shots give you a feel for our environment.When the ice is building up,the gap with the beach is the last to take as the ice sheet moves with the tides and the green tint of the salt water comes up good against the light colored ice.The same phenomenon happens in the spring on break-up when the water creeps over the ice sheet....makes for interesting images.The biting cold when this happens gives you a real feel for our reality......you should visit sometimes!!!!
