I like this picture but I have some reservations. The foreground with the splashes of rain in the river is nice and sharp but the background trees seem to be in between, neither sharp enough so that everything remains in focus nor soft enough so that they tend more towards boke. That would be my main criticism of a picture that is otherwise quite good.

I am a fan of pictorialism; Stieglitz etc. and photographically blending reality with abstract.  The foreground of this photo to me is reality and grabs the view; the background is the abstract.
