birds Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis) - View larger

I finish this series of goldfinches with this goldfinches group intent

on eating the seeds of spiny thistle of which they are greedy. I did

not want to eliminate the goldfinch on the right in this strange pose

because it is arriving in flight with wings closed. The picture was

taken at dawn. Thank you for your comments
