It is so nice to see a reminder of summer right now, with the wind howling outside my window. I love the color and detail in this photo, and I particularly like the way the highlights on the center of the flower glow. One of the things I really enjoy about close-up photos of flowers is that they help me find the beauty in things I wouldn't ordinarily notice, and this image is a beautiful example of that.
