Oh my, that Fuji is working overtime.  Wonderfully crisp with outstanding tones.  I like the fog in the background, too... Mike

you successfully transformed the burning bush into the ice bush here, and you elect a tonality that perfectly syncs with the magical spirit of the scene, and i trip in all the layers and depth of detail and it all makes for a wonderful winter scene David. But then it don’t matter if you frame spring, summer, autumn, your nature shots are always thoughtful meditations and reverences for mother nature, and so the biblical allusion above is not that farfetched.

Thanks Mike.  Yes, I think I'm enjoying the craft of photography with this camera more than with any other since perhaps the film days.

Carlos - thanks.  I enjoy reading your comments greatly - there's poetry in there . . .

Ken - Appreciate that!  Thanks.

Best, David

I see that you have now more snow than me and looks so good for this season moment. From the beginning I saw photo done with this Fuji I saw a difference in image quality(more sharp, clear) and for those in colors is something that catch the eyes and make them very pleasantly.I am a Pentax user as you used to be just now and I see very well the difference, plus I think this camera is not so weighty than Pentax with a tele lens for ex.What a nice place for a walk,I like a lot.

Hi Radu, and thank you.

Yes, we had had about 35 inches of snow so far this month - with more to come and temperatures near 0 tonight.

I am enjoying the new camera very much, especially shooting in manual focus and exposure.

Take care,

David
