That's quite a perspective of the barren planes in winter. I imagine it can be pretty brutal when the wind comes sweeping down from the north.

Hi Jack,

This is the view as I walk out of my driveway.The end of the road beyond that second powerpole is the harbour edge;that black strip in the distance is the closing arm of the harbour and then the open sea.When I first moved here,I realized the strength of the winds as I witness my garbage cans flying away over the frozen harbour;I have since bought bigger/heavier cans and skip a turn when the winds are up.
