Ordinary objects like bits of refuse, rocks, and vegetation can be beautiful, especially as a community.  They have a common purpose here.

Thanks for the comments. Very few have an appreciation of trash. I've often been asked why I take pictures of what is ugly rather than what is beautiful. But everyone can see what is obviously beautiful and few can see the beauty in what is discarded. For me, everything is an abstract composition, color and relationships, line and form. That's how I view the world in pictures such as this one, at least photographically - a world without read-made labels.

 

G & V - You're right, this is a prime piece of real estate near the Yodo River in Osaka. It's been vacant for years which I find very curious in a city with so much ongoing construction.
