An interesting and effective transposition. It would seem to lend itself to color rather than b&w but I don't know what you started with. Even in mono-color, the image works very well.

I like this new work, it is a different approach for you, the next phase if you will.

I like the collage of people thrown randomly into the frame, I like the mix
