i’m not sold on all that vertical space Emmanuel, but otherwise I love the comp, the gentle hands caressing corn and the beautiful simplicity of her dress style, rich in detail in design, and most of all the intense far away expression on her determined face emerging from darkness, and plus i gotta say i get a sensous vibe here.

A grand portrait and so well done in b/w.  She appears deep in thought, her mind many miles away from your lens, perhaps that makes the extra space appropriate.  Really good stuff... Mike

Thanks to all who commented on this image. To Pierre Dumas, yes it is out of focus. It was shot from a moving car in a busy marketplace and under very difficult focusing conditions. But, there was something about her face that moved me. Apparently, I was not alone.
