Especially the way the back side of the slippers are bent in, thats what makes it real. A great perspective by the way.

That there is not, comfy time. Nice composition. Holey sock would make it just a little better lol.

its funny how our homes say more about who we are than a photo sometimes? you seem to live life in a calm clean space.. uncluttered and nno place that you would rather be

Home is where the heart is.  Although it seems immediately evident that the place this image portrays is your home, you have many others - anywhere you click the shutter.

Dear Master Jack: The image is superb, anyway you may wish to look at it or "force" an angle of vision upon it. HOWEVER... the magic here, the clever point, the dexter detail is the half-basket...My Goodness! There is so much to learn from your very own, magnificent vision of life...through the lens. And then, you start looking at a path....right foot, then left, then the sleepers. Words escape me. Literally, I am gasping for air here....Striking, extremely powerful image....and such simplicity! Did I say magic? Yep. No wonder.

I have a wide smile on my  face. The  lazy man home shoe, become a slipper. ha ha ha.  And also, it  has a good  abstract  effect too.

Cheers.

Hi Jack,

For me it is the placement of your feet on all 3 carpets and how close your left foot is to your well worn, comfy, crushed heel slippers. The slippers 'SING' of all that is home. Once you cross the threshold and shut the door - the outside world no longer part of your day - that is when you sigh and look to your comfy slippers. If the heels were not 'crushed down' the composition would 'speak' so differently. The table with the basket speaks to me of perhaps simple tastes in decorating - functional yet not so stark that your personality and sense of style is missing. We all have our 'rituals' when we are in the safe haven of our homes. The quality of light is also important. Pleasing, not too bright, glary, or dim. Once home you 'slip' into your slippers......'The Comforts of Home' - nothing can replace that what it means to each of us.
