Jack McRitchie 150 Posted December 4, 2016 I think the thing I appreciate most about this picture is that no one would bother taking it other than you. I imagine if you show it to people down there, you'd get a lot of blank stares as well, which is one of the reason I seldom show my pictures to friends and relatives. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted December 4, 2016 Lannie, Jack's comment is perfect. And, you have used the lines here to create a terrific image of the common; that's your brand. Larry Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 4, 2016 Thanks, Holger and Larry. Larry, that is quite the compliment. Thank you! Actually, this scene could have a lot to recommend it, especially if the lighting--or the sky--were a bit better. --Lannie Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 4, 2016 I won't embarrass those who've already commented or myself simply by trying to paraphrase what's already been stated. Instead, I'll share with you what immediately popped into my head when I opened tis image. I saw an intersection, a crossroads. At least most of us see them on a daily basis. But, they're not the sort this image depicts. They are in the form of choices. I'd like to think that, unlike the myth of Robert Johnson, I've never cut a deal with the devil to get what I want. Hopefully anyone else reading this can say the same. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 5, 2016 Thanks, Michael. Let me go find a "fork in the road" for you, with all that that entails. --Lannie Link to comment
