guillelobera 0 Posted December 3, 2016 The River Vero Canyon has provided a safe haven for one of its finest treasures for millennia, a remarkable group of rock shelters and caves containing prehistoric art that have been declared World Heritage by UNESCO. The River Vero Canyon route will take us on a tour of the Barfaluy rock shelters, where numerous paintings in the schematic style have survived, the work of agriculturalist and pastoralist peoples of the Neolithic and the early Metal Ages.
