Very nicely worked concept; the overall framing is especially nice as it provides the right amount of substance to the image while at the same time showing expanse of space and the feeling of an infinite sky.

A very nice works, good  processing, and  the style remind  me  of a painter, I  can't  come up  with the  name  right now.

Heck of a picture, stefanie. It's a shot that lends itself naturally to symbolism and interpretation. It definitely has a sense of impending something (and probably not a welcome something).

Seemed so far away.... Now it looks as though they're here to stay....in the form of the exploding sky. Seriously I like the pp work and the gentle blur around the edges, gives it a slightly retro look. Good work.

Best, Holger

To me, it's more Van Morrison than Paul McCartney, Van coming a little more from the gut and McCartney being a little more cerebral. But that's neither here nor there . . . nor everywhere for that matter. In any case, it feels like you took what was there to be seen and gave it a place under this man's feet, as if to say he (and maybe we) are already in it. No solid ground. You helped make it happen. Sepia in living color.

Hi Stephanie

I don't know, if you want to show a picture of the anatomy of solitude. But that is my first association. I like the undramatic pale colors and the way you composed the image.

A most compelling image, very nicely treated and composed. It gives me the impression of classic movies from the 60s and 70s. Delightful tonality. Bravo.
