Wayne Sadler 554 Posted November 14, 2016 I could not help but think of Clinton's joke about Trump's rating of the statute of liberty as I tried to image this landmark. I realized I was equipped to image it in greater detail than I have ever before. Comments and critique welcome. Link to comment

thadley 14 Posted November 23, 2016 Still standing? (*_*). I have seen so many political cartoons recently where she is not standing and that was the reason for my question. Perhaps everyone knows the history but just in case ... The copper statue, designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, a French sculptor, was built by Gustave Eiffel and dedicated on October 28, 1886. It was a gift to the United States from the people of France. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 554 Posted November 24, 2016 Tony,Thanks. Been a while since I've visited "the lady". But I don't recall seeing what was written on the tablet or having examined her closely. Link to comment
