Somehow I missed this one at the time you initially posted it.  No matter, though.  Now it's been elevated to the level of the POTD, for which I congratulate you.

 

The  image's obvious strengths include the variety of blue tones, the occasional whites of the clouds, and the tack sharp detail of the sailing vessel.  Yet, to me, it's real value is an implicit message, urging the viewer to imagine being on the deck of the vessel while the crew is negotiating challenging ocean conditions.
