After a summer of high water there are a lot of trees that have washed

up on the beach of the Mississippi, creating interesting sculptures in

the low sun of the Fall afternoon light.

This is a strong picture, Steve, especially the composition and the spare color which adds to the graphic power of the shot. I like the strong diagonal of the waters edge and the distinct shadow under the log.
