Jack, I can only imagine your preferred interpretation, but the colors and composition are wonderful.

I love the details on the larger version.

To me the colors contrast is main attraction point in this photo  for a subject isolated in a corner but for sure someone is around.

Superb image, the contrast between the blue and the nearly colorless walls is a brilliant find, Composition and lighting are perfect.  A +7

Kind regards,

Herman

You have a great eye for finding art in your everyday walks. I think I would have been attracted to this scene but I am not sure if I could have pulled it off like you did. Sometimes I find it hard to decide just what to leave in or take out. Congrats on such a fine image.

I get  a sense of corrective punishment and imprisonment especially with the metal bars at the top. This is tempered by the warm glow and diagonally pointing long shadows which seem to nicely align with portions of the stroller. Perhaps these shadows are the caressing fingers of angels indicating that all will end well.

It almost seems to hover between two extremes. On the one side, sunny weather and a clear sky, happy bright blue, the reference to young life, green in the background. On the other side the heavy texture of the walls, somewhat industrial-looking, the one only object closed in in a corner, a sense of exclusion and solitudine.

Yes, it may well be about the composition as means to itself (and it works, no doubt), but like ever so often with your photos, it does raise questions and tickles the imagination enough to force you to study the photo with more than a casual glance.

I like the contrast between the walls rough texture and the smooth texture of the stroller, Jack. The color contrast makes the stroller stand out. Wonderful colors, light, details and composition. Best regards, Paul.

Thanks for the comment, Paul. This was an older picture I took back in 2016 on a trip to the Kobe-Oji Zoo. there were a lot of nice shots from that excursion, some of which you can see in my featured portfolio. I went back in my files to upload a picture from that trip and couldn't find that particular file. I can't believe I accidentally deleted it but that's certainly a possibility. If so, those images only exist now on PN.
