House in Late Afternoon Light (Hand-held)

I know the composition is terrible, but I just had to crop out the Trump/Pence sign below the bottom of the frame.

 

Really just trying out this lens, which is not new--but it is new to me.

You should have left it in, Lannie, it's an artifact of the times. How many lenses do you have anyway? Seems like you've amassed quite a collection.

Okay, Jack, I have now replaced the version you saw with a far less tight crop.

 

As for lenses, I don't really have so many.  This is in fact the first Nikon DX lens that I have bought except for the 18-105 that I used on my D90 and my D7000.  I have two or three good lenses for full frame.

Since this is a lens test, here is a 100% crop showing more detail in the leaves.

 

I bought the lens (used) on sale from KEH rated as EXC+ at less than half the price of a new lens.  So far I am quite happy with it for DX.  It is not a lightweight lens.
