Saw-whet Owl in Mid-town Manhattan on 2 November 2016 - photo by Sam Stuart

Sam Stuart‎New York BirdersYesterday this Northern Saw-Whet Owl spent the morning (7a-1p) on top of the entrance to my old office building in Midtown Manhattan (1675 Broadway). Regretfully I didn't find out about it until well after it had left. I didn't see it and no other birders saw it. Just an office building full of people who enjoyed seeing a cute "baby owl" and didn't think it worth notifying anyone. So, keep your eyes peeled because your next good bird could show up anywhere!
