I"m not sure of what a hand holding a can of spray paint has to do with the Rolling Stones, I would have gone with 'Paint it Black'.

Gordon - you know until you mentioned it I didn't realize that the design was a hand holding a can of spray paint; I completely missed it. What a perceptual eye you have! As for the title, I realized that it came from a Stones song but liked the feeling of the words, their offhanded rawness, rather than referencing the group or the song itself. Anyway, I was in the Beatles camp way back then. The title also refers to the paint dripping from the central drawing which you so astutely identified.
