I find the subject's had and hand positions quite interesting.  They seem to indicate that this person is engaged in a conversation; perhaps it's with you.  The grayscale tones fit her appearance perfectly.

I like the spontaneity; it looks like you caught the subject by surprise, the hand gesture suggests this was not a contrived portrait.  There is a nice geometrical arc to the points of interest: hand, mouth, and eye.
