Kulaniapia Falls Up Close

Large view preferred. Close-up waterfalls often fail to communicate a sense

of place and mood, but I am hoping that this detail of Kulaniapia Falls, full

view in the preceding image, works well. What do you think? Thanks for

The larger view immediately projected me to the close proximity of the falls, and I had an impression of thundering noise, damp sweet smelling earth and a kind exhilaration that you feel when you are right there!  So....I think you have totally succeeded!

Alf,  Thanks for the visit and comment.  The thundering noise kept us in and out of sleep all night long, but it was a great natural experience.  We haven't stayed at a rural inn right on a large waterfall like this before. I will e-mail you about my class.   Larry
