gregverena 339 Posted October 20, 2016 has such a different feel from the b&w one- yet, still, a very comforting scene! Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 21, 2016 An improbable picture that just doesn't settle into any particular, well ordered nook or cranny. Somehow it reaches deeper - at least for me - than any of the convenient categories. Despite the repose of the young girl in her mother's lap, the picture itself doesn't seem at rest or resolved but more an evolving scene in an ongoing story. All the really good pictures seem to have that effect - they refuse to be contained by the edge of the frame. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted October 21, 2016 Michail, This definitely has some comforting elements, namely the mother and child but I agree with Jack in that it seems there may be more to it than meets the eye. Perhaps it is the darkness outside the window, I'm not sure, but this image gets high marks from me.Best Regards, Holger Link to comment
