Looks like he's hunting wabbits, with his shadow providing backup in case the rabbits get out of hand.  Somehow the convergence of the walls seems to go with this rather contrived storyline.

Thanks for the comments on this picture. I understand that it's oddly composed (or not composed at all) but somehow the combination of the colors, the shadow and the gun interested me. I posted it more out of curiosity about what kind of response the picture would receive - if any. Michael, I tried to access your link but I kept getting the message "server error. Maybe you could check it and repost the link.

I love this photograph; it is reminiscent of William Enggleston, and it is perfect just as it is. 

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I've got a couple of Eggleston books and he's one of the photographers the really interests me along with Winnogrand, Robert Frank and Saul Leiter. There's a kind of off beat poetry in their work that I think would appeal to people who use words to paint their pictures such as yourself
