Great Grey Owl, near Canyon Village, Yellowstone National Park. Due to exigencies of

the moment, this was captured hand-held, but braced on a tree. The Tamron 150-

600mm lens is still new to me, so I'm a bit uncertain what outcome to expect. How

does this compare to your anticipated results? This is a raw image processed in LR.

Your comments, critiques, and suggestions for both photo technique and PP are

respectfully requested and always sincerely appreciated.

After viewing all three in the large view I come away thinking this has the best clarity David. It's nice to see the raptor engaged in something also. Like I said their all very good images.

Nice catch & shot! These guys are very shy.  In all the years I have been here surrounded by owls, I have only got one sequence of good photos. The lens seems to deliver excellent results!

This one really grabs me.  I caught myself looking at the lower left of the image to see what attracted his attention.  Well captured... Mike

I passed over this one before assuming it was weird, however looking closer now I find it the best of the three. The single eye and pose are really great.
