I got halfway up this slope and kind of wondered what the hell I was

doing there ......The saturated ground never ceases to fascinate

me...even when it looks dry the whole area is saturated like a giant

sponge, no wonder the rivers never dry up! Your thoughts and

comments are always appreciated! Thank You!

Impressive depth of field and clarity with those settings and (hand held). Fantastic composition, hues and toning as usual.  Great work, Alf

Many Thanks for your most encouraging words!  I'm not usually very good at hand held shots, but it was just too awkward to use a tripod this time :)

Best Regards

It certainly can be a hostile environment and particularly in the winter, bt this day was relatively mild, despite the threatening clouds : - )

Sincere Thanks!

Some things don't change, and the typical Welsh landscape is one of them, 2 hours drive from home and I can find my very own wilderness!

Cheers Mike!

Thank You so much!   I think the UK has much in common with Norway in terms of landscapes and terrain, but I think you have much more scenic winters!

Best Regards

Many Thanks I tried a few different vantage points to use the little rivulet as a leading line, and after reviewing them recently I think I may have better ones than this.

Best Regards
