The thing that gets me every time, Jack, is that these are such wonderfully whimsical and smile-provoking images, and at the same time are so masterfully put together that they could be illustrations for a book on composition. The colors here are wonderful, too. So thank you, once again, for brightening my day!

I recognize that your title of "Only Child' takes me down a particular path and I can identify with that because I was an 'only child' but not couped up like this. However the intensity of the black eyes against a 'white' surface combined with the prison-like bars gives me a sense that no matter where I go there will be eyes or video phones or satellite images keeping track of my every move.  I hear that satellite technology can tell what you are reading in an outdoor park. I have nothing to hide so that does not worry me.

I agree with Michail here.  Looks like two siblings to me; the one on top clearly is on a power trip.  Sad to say, they seem to be imprisoned.  I wonder what offense they committed.
