My personal preference is for this color version over the black & white version. To my mind, the strongest aspects of the image are the wonderful verticals in the pilings (and their reflections) and the beautiful blue sky and clouds and their reflections. In the b&w version, the piling reflections don't differentiate as well from the clouds, and I think that reduces their impact a bit. If you went to b&w to reduce the importance of the greens on the right, it might be interesting to try cropping in a bit on the right--ending it at just to the right of the sign could turn the photo into something close to a monochromatic image in blue and white, with just a hint of red framing it on the sides in the lettering and flags and their reflections. I love those pilings!
