Congratulations. This image has an true, unique and authentic character. Superbly composed with great DOF, excellent management of contrast and texture. Aside from all the very highly achieved technical details (of which I could comment on many more), I find that your image should deserve many more comments.

Sadly, most comments go to nude images or those of flowers. That is one reason for which I have almost completely withdrawn from PN, both from posting images and from forums or comments. Nonetheless, when I see something as worthy as this, I do not hesitate.

The image is so special, from my POV, that it is from another era, a fairytale. The sky definitely plays a major role in the overall "abandoned" "ghosty" atmosphere. In some instances, images tend to reflect the photographer's personality, but in this one, you have managed to let the image be so much "itself", and that is what I mean when I say it has its very own character and personality, i.e., to stress the point, that it all jumps from within the image out to the observer, speaking to him/her, rather than the photographer sending a message with a photograph.

Truly great.
