Geranium buds

Is one of most resistant garden flower that still to be in flower just

to the moment when frost comes.I did this photo by stacking 3 shot

that was enough to have what I want from this subject.Macro comes

always with things never seen naked eyes,like here lot of small hair

I like the light and the colour palette.

The tight crop also works well.

The narrow depth of field gives a lovely softness to the image.

The one thing I wish for is that you had taken a fourth frame to focus stack with, of the front of the left bud, so as to have it in focus. As stands now that out of focus area in a plane that should be sharp, given the position of the other buds, looks unnatural and distracts from the image making it an obvious photo stack and taking away from an otherwise natural feel.

Gordon,you are right about left bud,right one and bottom one has those hair well seen and would be better for left one too.Only I can say is for next time to be more carefully.I appreciate your constructive opinion.
