The spikiness of the plant gets repeated in the shadows and reflections, which adds texture.  Always good to see your work, Jack.

Great combination of geometry with colors Jack. The patterns on the window break the austere form imposed by the big white area and the bricks. The plant at the corner is the "cherry" on the cake!

I'm not sure how shy it really is, Jack.  To me, it's having major anxiety due to being trapped between the real and the real's doppelgänger.  Then again, I've known all along that you are a metaphysician.

Thanks as always for taking the time to comment on this photo. This and, most all the photos in this folder were taken with a Sony RX100M3 camera that I borrowed from one of my students. I had seen it on a video suggesting it was a great street camera and wanted to try it out. For a tiny little thing that fits easily into your shirt pocket, I think it does a helluva job.

Michael, that's an interesting idea about the photographer as metaphysician and worthy of it's own thread in the forums.

This exercise in geometry is actually quite arresting. I see enough math problems in this image to trigger the phobias I had suppressed since my Freshman year at Clackamas Community College.

Wonderful colors, light and presentation, Jack. The bucket looks like it's disappearing due to the opacity of the window. Excellent composition with a look into life in the corner. Best regards, Paul.
