Yes, yes the lines feeding power to the building and its' acceptance of that power. Lines of communication and power and just lots of good lines graphically as well Jack. I kind of like this.

Once when people discover how to transmit electricity wirelessly  this photo will be even more fun :)!

From a purely compositional point of view, I like how the strong diagonal of the coiled wire rises and then visually breaks and falls with the numerous smaller wires and slant of the room.  Almost like a wave.

Jack, This is the type of image that I really enjoy. I love the lines, the shadows and the wonderful colour. I see some of these images in artistic photo magazines and I could spend hours looking at them. Best wishes.

I like the contrast of the curves with the rectangular pattern on the building.  There are some complex things going on here, yet the composition appears simple.  Well done, Jack.  Things I especially like are the coiled wire, the constriction of the blue at the corner of the building, and the truncation of some of the wires and the shadows at the edge of the building.

This image is fantastic. The way you've created your composition was tediously done. From the way the shadows of the power lines play and the two main clouds breaking up the blue space, you've got yourself one great image. What really does it for me is the coiling wire, without that you'd have a nice image, but not as strong and intriguing. I almost wish the extension of the power structure in the upper left was moved a half of an inch to the right so that we have more blue space to break up the congested edge. Overall, I love how you are able to make the viewer scan the entire image over and over entranced by the dynamic composition.

Thanks for the comments on this picture. I'm actually a little surprised by the response as you might guess if you read my initial response to Holger. It's the kind of picture that appeals to me because it really isn't about exposition or subject matter but relationships and composition. To Garry and Alyson especially, I'm happy to receive your comments since you are both new members and glad you picked my photo for one of your initial responses. I hope there'll be lots more. Tatjana and Pierre are old friends who it's always a pleasure to hear from.Jeff, it's always a treat wen your name shows up on one of my pictures; I'm waiting for some new work when you have a spare moment in your hectic life. Mark, you've always been one of the most generous and incisive commenters on PN; you just don't post enough of your always compelling images to suit me. and finally Lannie. Thank you as always for your support. It's just the kind of guy you are.
