These little creatures and I seem constantly at war. But every now

and then there is an unexpected truce and I grab my camera. Comments

and critique appreciated.

No doubt, this critter has a voracious appetite.  

 

I'm not sure I've seen a macro shot of an insect as dramatic as this one.  The face, especially the eyes, comes right out of a classic Hollywood monster film.
